Diagnosis
Female flagellum stout and densely setose; mesoscutum and scutellum black with metallic blue tinges, to metallic dark purple, mesoscutum with raised and rather strong reticulation, scutellum with engraved and very weak reticulation; femora dark brown with metallic blue tinges; tibiae dark brown to pale brown; gaster with first tergite with punctures in medioposterior ½. Similar to latrodecti but with longer propodeum and with flagellum densely pilose.
